Waiting

Waiting Waiting for nine months to catch my first breath Waiting two years to take my first step Waiting for school to come to an end Waiting for love required a good friend Waiting to get married did not take long when I found the one Waiting for children nature in charge Waiting for god we all have to do that is up to you Waiting I have realized over the years only brings you tears Waiting is not for me living in the present is the only way to be

That's what I believe, look now back and peek not forward, but wrap up completely in the current moment. To master that is truly one perfect spiritual accomplishment. Enjoyed your thought process in the write. All the best ... CayCay

This is the reality, we waited more in our life than doing actions, partly because you wanted everything to happen on it s own, like miracle

This is something I've often pondered too, how much "waiting" we do in our lives. Of course, waiting on God's timing is necessary but we have to make the most of our time while we are waiting... I'm so glad you're here on soup, Niall, you are delightful :) Hugs

There is value in waiting and anticipation. They did a study with marshmallows. They found that kids who were able to delay gratification ended up being more successful in later life. I do however agree that being mindful and living in the moment has enormous value. I like that this piece caused me to think.
