Wait, and Then
~ As the week ends in stumbling hours of eve,
may the sun kiss your lips while
I sleep in the arms of dreams
unrefined--
I may not be with you in gentle times
caved by my need for privacy,
but,
remember me as I send you an
embrace brushed by moonlight..
humbling myself in your presence not,
still,
wait for me to disrobe this stillness
while you can,
and then…
remember days like other days, when
I cuddle your delicate body
against mine, oh so ready
to claim our space: eyes locked
tender and ablaze...
O wait for me until then ~
