Vulnerable: free verse: Vulnerability
The only flower blooms in a field of withered weeds.
The wind howls in a strong, and violent breeze.
A single drop of water drips onto the desert sands.
So lost and so alone, just like I am.
New life is exposed to zero below,
A snowflake falling through sun beams.
In this place that is oh, so cold,
The last leaf hangs on winters bare trees.
I am exposed, like I have no skin.
I've just been born, I am naked again.
A thousand eyes behold, there's nothing they can't see.
Nowhere to hide in this vast, stormy sea.
You've torn down my only refuge...
Stolen all of my pride...
Given every hand a stone...
that they sling with their eyes...
And now, here I stand,
Since you left me alone,
Since you left me,
Alone...
With who I am.
Vulnerable: iambic pentameter: Vulnerability
The only flower In a field of weeds.
The wind is how'ling, strong, violent breeze.
A drop of water on the desert sand;
So lost and so alone, just like I am.
I am so exposed, like I have no skin,
I've just been reborn, I'm naked again.
A thousand eyes look, nothing they can't see,
Nowhere to hide in this vast, stormy sea.
You have torn my refuge, stolen my pride,
Given all hands stones, they sling with their eyes.
And now, here I stand, ever since you left,
Since you left me, alone, with who I am.
