Visions That Stay

There are visions that can stay and never go away Such as seeing someone hurt, something I can’t tolerate Regardless of who it is, being hurt who I may see I don’t have to know the person, it is not that way I have protected many and reported many Once I was told, I cannot protect or save them all – true – But, I will still sacrifice for anyone hurt near me I’ll be brave in the face of fear for them and myself if need be Even if nightmares ensue and then later haunt me It is something in my life that will stay this way Along with justice and truth, at the end of each day I won’t change myself, because it has always been part of me I will never just turn the other way and ignore it to let it be Heidi Sands 10/14/19
