Vintage: Aventurine
Aventurine, oh such a soothing stone, green translucent and lovely,
vintage earrings that I inherited from Grandma heal my heart; and my
emotions are comforted and harmony is mine, (good fortune will be mine too)
nothing makes me feel closer to Grandma than these earrings do.
The years turn back and I see them on her when I was a small child,
unknown to this girl, she had put them away just for me;
rest in peace dear heart, for I will keep them always and forever, to
instill compassion in my everyday and positive energy and truth will flow.
Now, let me put these delicate green Aventurine earrings on, gems
elegant that mimic nature, and now, yes now, I can write my poetry . . .
