Vampire Sonnets Vii the Dance
He locked on my vampire eyes so quickly
“Well miss Inalem will you dance with me?”
Taking my left arm we began to sway,
in his eyes I could waste the night away;
As his hand slowly wound up in my curls,
I could feel my eyes slowly start to swirl;
The feeling of him and I in this waltz,
inevitable that he would get lost;
Suddenly I felt him down in my core,
transfixed as we moved across the wood floor;
l knew instinctively he had no choice,
so delicate the murmur of his voice;
“Right here in this moment I cannot lie,
I will bleed for you if you let me die.”
