Likewise..Paul...Its great not to be carried by the winds..What is wrong will always be wrong..No matter how we try to play on words The winds of change in Malta..aren't leading to a promised land, especially with the last Embryo issue...Loved your powerful post.

A pleasure to have you stopping by, Charm...thank you for reading and commenting. I totally agree with you...wrong will always be wrong; also I hate sincere people being stabbed in the back! I believe that the winds of change have brought a storm along with them! Warm regards // paul

Solid convictions, great values are our very roots that build us as unbreakable wholes. Concise but of tremendous depth! I enjoyed reading your poem.

I love this. And it is very ambivalent (good) whether the stubborn roots, or the persuasive winds are the moral winners or vice versa. Kai

I'd love to know what the "persuasive winds" are, Paul. Inquiring minds want to know. Wink, wink. Great write...as always.

“It is worth remembering that the time of greatest gain in terms of wisdom and inner strength is often that of greatest difficulty.” Dalai Lama... That being said Paul you have loads of inner strength, one can tell, it reflects in your poetry. A wonderful image to go with your profound words....Maria

Its easy to become uprooted when constantly challenged. We hope that we are strong enough within to not be swept away. Short and to the precise point with this one and a super graphic to go with it Paul. Warm regards, Laura.
