   Gaze longingly into mine

      What is her desire

         Softly purring in my ear

            (Inscrutable cat o' mine!)

I had a white Himalayian Persian - so remember her soft purring in my ear. She used to wrap herself around my neck and just stay there [like a fur collar] even if I got up and walked around.
