Up Into the Blue

Every single morning I shake off the night before While Evil with no warning Makes today another chore I put my boots and my cape on With precision, place my mask Only hoping, not just willing, to be able for the task I take a sip of my wife's coffee And a mighty bite of toast Then kiss my wife and children 'Cause it's them I love the most Then I stand upon the porch, the way I always do And run ,and leap, and disappear, up into the blue
