Unwritten
"This poem was meant to be unwritten.
But I am writing it now and have thereby changed destiny."
- Kamand Kojouri
Unwritten words call out to me
to let them fill the page,
Unbidden, they come with a plea,
"Let us your thirst assuage",
Bitten by the poetry bug,
I let them flow out free,
Smitten am I with words that tug
my heartstrings' penning spree,
Hidden within my soul, they spring
like a fountain of joy,
Once written, they become the string
of verses you enjoy.
