Unwritten, the words
Pour from her heart, her soul
In gentle whispers, a touch
Thoughts kissing away all the lost,
The darkness and doubt, bleeding
Hope into the poetry she knows
Comes from the light shining
So bright, where she glows
Breathless moments, intense
And focused on the intimate prose,
Rhymes, rhythms in verse,
Visions of all the miracles, the
Joy and love – poured out like
A spring rain, nourishing
Providing sustenance for the hungry
Lasting food for the one
Who believes in forever, eternity
Breaking through the prayers,
Erasing all the fears, the tears –
Kindness praising and promising
There is more to this than can be seen
With the naked eye, more than
The heart can feel and more than the soul
Will reveal with its stirring of grace
Unwritten, the verses silence suspicion
Roll away the uncertainties
With music that is healing, revealing
All the promises that abide inside the heart
Who knows that this is not the place
Where we will finally know home intimately, forever
Is not a place, but a person who is known
As the King of Kings, the Prince of Peace –
The One who makes a way for the spirit
To rise through the skies into a heaven where
He lifts away all misgivings, reassures
And reminds that – with Him
The heart knows the meaning of love’s eternally
Blessings beyond the mind’s ability
To comprehend the meaning of grace that
Survives through the worst and brings
Light that reflects the SON through the darkest grief
Unwritten, the words are made to seek
Hearts who know that His wisdom
Will take them to heaven where they will see
That Jesus is the only way to know peace,
Through Him, there is joy without an end!
Unwritten, His light frees the soul to breathe freely
Finally alive like there has never been a shadow to fight
