Unlikely -- But You Never Know -- Coming Attractions

I have yet to write a poem about a toothbrush or toothpaste or cremation or zinc One thing I am sure of, however, and that is if I do, I shall have merely wasted a little more ink

A poem is a lovely brush against insipid reality, no matter the subject. Raspy bristles shine the teeth. Wad of toothpaste in the cheek. I hope to kiss a pretty maid, So this is how I start my day.

Ha, ha! You sure do see the sunny side of 'insipid reality.' I don't understand the upside of 'cremation,' but a good chunk of the world practices it... Oh, well... Nice to see your avatar, Jean! :) gw

I wrote a poem about ear wax once (really!) so I think a toothbrush poem would give me a smile :)

Too cute Gershon. Your ink is never wasted when you say something that needs t be said. If writing makes you feel good then it's good therapy so write on. Besides you have a fine mind so it's good to share it. Loved this. It made me smile. God Bless, JB

I guess that's the point. We have to consume things in order to burn anything. Why not just waste ink?! :) gw

I've seen poems on here about the most unusual things and have been quite comical too. Tom

Ya never know what's coming next, eh Tom? Perhaps Spider Man sips from Cinderella's slipper at the Rodeo down by the Journey to the Center of the Earth. ~ Mister IAS Island
