Poems I pen echo melancholy
and I take your hand in mine -
down a woebegone path . . .
Feel each word for the deep nuance whisper
each gloomy memory drips -
hidden is a sweet joy . . .
Come reader on my poetic journey
read my mournful words and weep -
let me into your heart . . .
