Unanswered Questions - Sock It To Me

Why is one sock missing when I open my washing machine? I’m totally bewildered, it's the strangest thing I've ever seen! I must have a gremlin that eats one sock from every pair So I’m resigned to wearing odd socks, it’s really so unfair! Unanswered Questions Contest Sponsored by Juli-Michelle 12-15-17

Belated congrats on this gold medal winner, Jan. I've finally gotten smart and buy multiple pairs of identical socks for both my husband and I... and kudos to me... I learned to do the same with earrings now.

EXCELLENT JAN. It is an eternal unanswerable question to me also. Where one sock from each pair can hide itself? Congrats to win top. Love

Brilliant Jan, well done. I used to have the same problem but I've now got one of them little net bags and to this day have never lost a sock. Regards Tom P.S. I've been told they are also gremlin proof.

What splendid fun. I believe the mystery has been solved, however. Close-up pictures from NASA's Cassini mission have revealed that Saturn's rings are made of missing socks.

the mystery of the day, Jan, it's so funny because I pick at my granddaughter that she must me color blind, she always mixes her sock not to match ... she is so funny she says she likes them that way...

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS GOING TO DO - THE SOCK THING, But I got the impression they had to be serious writes. I also considered men's wayward hairs on brows, from nose and earlobes while head bald. So many funny ones to choose from. I enjoyed this, I mean, it was my idea. All the best all the days ... CayCay

I forgot to mention what I do with socks BEFORE putting them into the wash. I pin them together with safety pins. It works!

I cannot agree with you more on this unanswered question. I'd like to think its because women know how to "knock the socks" off their men and vise versa.

ha ha ha Yes its it's beige leather with a penguin sock it is mine Lol ... Oh I do miss my leather original gloves I purchased them on a trip to Dublin with my parents and the gloves have sentimental value and I also vivid memories as Tony Blair was there on a book signing and there was almost a riot in the streets which were cordoned off and mum and I had to retreat hastily and had to go out shopping later!:-) hugs Jan xx

The answer is, Jan, to buy two pairs of the same type but only put three of them in the machine at the same time. Then you will always have a matching pair. LOL. // Barry
