Turn of Grace
Sometimes, the shadows linger still
despite my fervent plea
I long for sun to captivate
each thought without delay
While in the gray of of silence
awaiting turn of grace
defenseless often is the eye
to summon rainbow’s view
Yet, beneath the clouds above
I will not long remain
For shadows always disappear
when thoughts of light endure
