Gershon, You hit the mark today. It's "We the People" who pay for the testing. If "We the people" don't wake up, we are not going to have a free society for much longer. I hope people will wake up and use common sense on these issues. Well written. Happy Valentines Day ~ Debra

Hear you! I think even some Democrats are starting to wake-up -- the security of government jobs to be swallowed up by inflation, a dollar soon to be worthless, and replaced by government controlled computer points. Boy, are we going to love that, told exactly where we can spend, on what and when.

I am confused. I just took my 3-year grandson to the doctor this morning. I get his prescriptions there. With his meds, they gave 4 free Covid test and four more next month. Wasn't charged, didn't ask, but was happy to hear it and receive. I do see the charge that I am not charged for is on my insurance form on Medicare.

I did mention, the charge of $56. on my Medcare summary for the testing at the hospital. I have been tested asymptomatic twice. And I fumed over it because I wasn't ill, I just went in for an acute pancreatitis caused from a gallbladder stone in Dec. 2021. I got very ill on Feb. 2020 and kept being misdiagnosed for a month. I feel I had Covid then, but it wasn't known that it was here at the time.

So, Eve: Who pays for your test if you don't?! It costs money, of course. The answer is that all of us taxpayers are paying for all of our tests, as they are 'government-funded.' So the 'free business' is yet another government scam. If we had to pay (even part of the cost), then you can be sure nobody who's asymptomatic would take a test, and all this nonsense-testing would go right out the window and into the trash can in which they belong... Now you have had a taste of welfare: FREE MONEY. WHY WORK -- Others will pay for me to stay home (and shoot dope). ~ Reality Check Time, gw
