Truth 2025

You can shout truth down
you can murder truth
you can crucify truth
But you cannot silence
Truth! 2000 years later,
One Truth is on lips, and
in the minds and hearts
of billions. You can have
the loudest megaphone in
the world, half of the US
Congress, but your false
voices will only serve
to louden our opposition,
Truth speaks eternal volumes
were its lips and tongue torn
out. The Devil has tried to
silence truth since time
immemorial -- you swine
who follow his creed, know
that, none but Truth will
stand at the gate of heaven,
travel its blessed halls in
the presence of God -- Christ
is our Truth! Off the Cross,
and now in the hearts and
souls of relentless devotees
who will not be Silenced. Kill
us! But that won't Silence us --
the resurrection has more soulful
volume, is more powerful
than all your evil combined.
Young Kirk's torch will
shine forever brighter, carried
to ultimate victory, by
those who follow and love,
worship and believe in our
Lord, Jesus The Christ. Kirk has
not been extinguished -- but
instead, by his cruel murder
has now been elevated to a Sun of
of ever-radiating, ever-brighter,
spiritually awakening for blessed
purification -- a lightning rod of
Truth~ that will usher in Righteous
salvation to ultimately, hopefully, be reborn
in all rebellious humanity. Truth is Love.

Dear Joe,I have been waiting to read some poems on Kirk. Thank you so much for writing the heartfelt tribute on such a sweet man who bore witness to God not merely through words, but through every act of him. Yes, truth cannot be silenced. Though his assassin succeeded in silencing his voice, a thousand tongues will now echo what he has said and what he wished to say.

Thank you, Valsa; what do we have here, at Soup, maybe 10, 20,000 American members? The lack of poetry on the Kirk Assassination, and even those poems written, in the stratosphere of ethereal detachment from the pain and suffering of real people, has been disheartening for me. Thank you from an American to a wise and beautiful Indian. Maybe I have had the wrong idea about American poets. Wonder if I have wasted years here? Blessings.
