True Friends
Who are true friends?
Those who put their duties first?
Place you second to the rest?
Or do they reach out
On their own, just to check in
Spare some time to listen through
Choose to sacrifice
In times others are in need
Trying best to understand
True friends dedicate
They can see beyond themselves
Caring to spend time with you
Some are not so true
So we live and we do learn
How to choose, how to discern
