TRIUMPHANT VIRTUES
Cleaving to truth has established my soul
For heavenly and eternal goal
Toward triumphant endeavor so blest
In fulfilling God-assigned sublime role.
Practice of prayer is settling my best
Along God’s throne, drawing nigh to His breast
Seeking for revival of divine flame
Kindled inside loving fellowship’s nest.
Enjoying bliss while Gospel I proclaim
Prevails over my heart with hope to claim
Midst sincere ministerial reaching-out
To spread the good news of redemption fame.
Being at peace conquers attacking doubt
While reading the Lord’s Word for righteous route
Thanking pardon marked by graciousness-bliss
After confessing my sin from guilt’s clout.
Virtues* of triumph surely I won’t miss
Upholding all believers, Brods and Sis
Who in the Saviour are graciously whole
For heavenly flight to worship’s abyss.
*2Peter 1:5-8 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
