Treasure
You're a gem with lasting luster
like the sun that shines forever.
You're a jewel full of brilliance.
Stars are dwarfed by your radiance.
You shine, even in darkest places.
You rouse the light to baffling mazes.
Just like a gem that shines from yonder,
you make the eyes ponder and wonder.
You're a treasure beyond measure.
Seeing you shine is my greatest pleasure.
I wish to rouse the soul of your ember
so I can hold your heart forever.
I wish to be a ring on your finger
so we can always be together;
But I'm just a rag outside your door,
I wish I deserve to be on your floor.
