Traveler Tide
The tide is a traveler, on a round trip tour of Earth.
A collector, adding to its timeless collection.
The waters know more than history;
they’ve traveled an eternity;
they’ve watched Gaia’s life unfold.
Water knows how to nurture and to kill;
it raises its children and imparts to them,
their purpose.
Tide will defend itself; its own.
As Earth shifts, so will the tide.
Lands will come and go;
changing with tide’s journeys;
tide will always remain;
or so humans, assume.
Humans must learn that, tide has nowhere to roam
when there is no more Earth.
