The wounded soul refused to heal,
lost was heart’s innate zest and zeal,
being unable to forgive,
save revenge no reason to live
and so it was, he got his chance,
reversing roles, using fear’s lance
but all he felt was deep remorse
at his conquest by using force,
so he retired into silence,
laying to rest thought violence,
forgiving himself and others,
recognising all souls brothers,
exuding the fragrance of love,
invoking blessings from above.
