Tragic Loss

A horrific freak accident took my dear friends life Two young girls he left behind and a beautiful wife There are no words on earth that anyone can say To ease the deep pain and loss or make it fade away At his service there were readings and lots of tears But he left us fond memories built up over the years. Written on 19TH June 2018. Fictional write for six line poetry contest sponsored by Silent One.

How true Eve, sometimes a hug is all you can give to someone but that alone speaks volumes, for sure one of the worse things we have to cope with. Tom

Thank you Sunshine, tragically I did lose a friend years ago that I grew up with. But there was no family involved Tom
