Traffic Sense
Not for me your mundane misty rules,
Nor am I a student of your schools.
I still your rules follow,
When in Rome… you all know,
Let your ilk feel that rules are for fools.

Poet’s note: Lockdowns, curfew and traffic restrictions seem to have encouraged animal and bird life from around to venture closer to cities. I saw a camera snap of a peacock crossing the road on a zebra crossing (courtesy Indian Express 01 June 2021) whilst a solitary car and a scooterist waited patiently to let it do so— a rare scene indeed.
