Touch Me - Dusk

Dusk,
dressed in
mauve feathers,
bared pink shoulders,
with come-hither snare,
touches the foolish Sun
with a spectrum of red lips…
Up so many stairs they will trod,
shutting the world alone in the dark..
New lovers who stroll through gardens of night

And as nightingale and the crickets cry
Spurned world sets her brain adrift to weep
putting out the lights of her eyes
shuttered in forsaken bed …
Crescent moon stands vigil
Until capricious
Sun, with fickled
breath,… breezes
in with
Dawn

Now you see here whatcha did all that "metaphoric touchin!" I love love love the write but I had to weed out all but the most DIRECT refferances to touch, she wasn't going to go for emotional or spiritual touch [dern] NO MATTER it still is an A #1 write Congrad's on your win. Light & Love

Oh I honestly loved how you did yours and how Sun takes on with that personality! Really enjoyed this, so hmm it's either Dusk or Dawn for him huh, very unique take on the challenge-- I could just picture Dusk with those mauve feathers-- this was so much fun! Congrats on your win :) & hugs to you & thanks so much for your comments in mine, made me smile so much :D

Hey now this is an interesting and unique take on Dusk and poetic as well. A personification of Dusk( a favoite time of mine) enveloped in a double Etheree. Now that is cool miss Carrie! Well done and good luck in the contest! Thanks for your comment
