Tossing Around In Mystery
Around me, petals fly away, as if driven by cyclonic winds
Or by the powerful pull of life itself
Petals fly and I can only stand and stare
Feeling mesmerized by such a glorious sight!
Around me, lions dance, seeking solely to exalt at their own being
Caring not to consume me or even to harm me
Rather, they dance and seem oblivious to my presence
And I, still mesmerized, can only stand and stare!
Around me, life revolves on itself, life revolves and glances not at me
Rather, it goes on its way, as a Goddess so bent on her aim
And I, still stand and stare, but with a jolt in my heart
Pray, am I following life, I do wonder, or am I simply waiting for it to end?
Around me, people laugh with their hearts
Feeling ecstatic about their own essence
And I, can only stand and stare, wondering at my own emptiness
Wondering at why I feel not their zeal!
Pray, watching me were the winds, so mighty and to the point
Seeing my hesitation at living, they blew at me, horrific gales
Unable to save myself, I suddenly found myself, flying with petals
Dancing with lions and laughing with people of the Earth!
Still, I felt so void and alone, for, though I mingled with life
I still felt like I needed to probe its depths and find its meaning
Why, I did start to wonder at why petals fly, at why lions dance
At why people laugh and at why I was pushed to live
I probed and searched wherever I could, but was only met with silence!
