Take time to talk to your young person. It's like money in the bank but instead of money you'll be storing up memories. I wouldn't trade my memories of my girls for any amount of money.
My child came in to talk to me,
Said something was on her mind.
I smiled and touched her lovingly,
But said I hadn't time.
Perhaps we'd talk another day,
When there was time aplenty,
But now the time was much too short,
My duties far too many.
And so it went through all her years,
Her questions oft unanswered,
And now that I have time to talk,
-----She's gone-----
