To Treasure

My mind was caught in the fog I drove through Loss of clarity on such a gray, gloomy day too So much did not feel right, so much out of place Maybe, I just had a blank look on my face It's a challenge to climb, but so easy to fall The world's space is so big, I feel so small Oh, how the sun's disappearance can take smiles away Where murky water made pools in the mud today I held onto memories of the sparkling snow Reminders of days so bright, to treasure and not let go Heidi Sands 2/28/24 (C)opyright

It is truly a delightful experience to engage in introspection and recollect fond memories, dear friend, particularly when confronted with a somber and misty day. I greatly appreciate your eloquent depiction of the challenges we encounter and how the power of positive reminiscence serves as an antidote to such emotions. Bravo, Heidi.

Always a joy to reflect and reminisce in pleasant memories, my friend --especially when facing a foggy, gloomy day. I like how you described hardships we encounter--and how pleasant memories counter those feelings. Well done, Heidi.

Kind of like retirement. When winter days come, just stay inside and hibernate.
