To This Place
"To This Place"
To this place,
I owe a great deal.
They try to help me,
Keep it, oh, so real.
In I came,
totally beat down.
On my face,
was only a frown.
Depression sucks,
this we all know.
But they help us here,
until we're ready to go.
Suicide is what,
I wanted to do.
Again this place,
saw me thru.
Judgment is what,
I was afraid to face.
But judgment is not,
what I found in this place.
My life seemed over,
I was down and out.
Now all I want,
is to dance and shout.
If this is you,
give them a chance.
And I promise you,
you will want to dance.
The staff is caring,
and helped me thru.
Just like the way,
they will help you too.
The meds they started,
worked just right.
And now I feel,
I'm out of this plight.
It wasn't easy,
this much is true.
But if you stick it out,
this could be you.
To this place,
I owe a great deal.
They will help you too,
to keep it, oh, so real.
