I have noticed such a change with the soup site Lack of views, lack of comments, it is a sad sight This is a community of sharing and support Not a place to make people feel the need to abort Please try to share feedback fairly to others who spend days, Bringing such talent here to read in these beautiful ways! Your point is taken, understood and related to, Heidi. Compared to other sites Soup is not at all bad, but you are right, I can feel lethargy raising its head. I echo Susan's comments...they apply to my own situation. Having said that, I am happy with a few sincere comments than a lot of artificial ones. ~ Best regards // paul

Indeed, Heidi. I agree with how the quick pace of the ‘new poems list’ buries new poems.. but also, it seems like the same active poets comment on many poems. I reach out with comments to poets, who never acknowledge my comments nor comment back in return.. no matter how many times.. so sad. Thank you for raising your voice on this issue, Heidi. Hi Susan. I appreciate your comment and feedback on this. I noticed my poetry views have changed quite a bit over time, apart from comments. I like to share with people scenic views I see , etc. and I like to support others too. I hope the site can get back to what it was before. So true Heidi, I think it's a reflection of the chaos in the world around us, people give up too easily on everything that matters. This should be a site of encouragement but sadly it is a mere reflection of society in general.

And now I come in to leave comment #4. Point made and point understood. This poem has been up around 12 hours, right? It is sad my friend, it used to be fun around here but it seems most don't really care about poetry or about the community. Hopefully it gets better soon.
