To Paradise

Rain impaled into the soil seeking to spread grass and dandelion flowers I look for jonquils I look for daffodils I close my eyes and I’m off once more to paradise driving to Dad’s I can’t see it yet, but I know there’s a well Living Water in the rain, the gray, the monotone I know there’s a rainbow and I’m somewhere over it, beyond my trial I know there’s a well, all is well I’m insane, no Christ keeps me rather sane He knows what drains me Fill me up, O Lord, fill me up
