To My Nicholas

There is pain in love,     yet love shows no pain- There is fear in passion,     yet passion shows no mercy. Chains break free when love is surrounded by beauty. Fear not from the ones who love you, but embrace the love you once feared.  Forgiveness from a disagreement reveals an inner security, as a pardon can release a need so strong that passion gives you a sincere reunion.                       Only honesty and compassion can save us from heartache. Leaving a love because of pain doesn’t make you weak, but keeping faith in true love can make you stronger. Truth can bring safety and embracing life together can bring a joy so deep you can hardly breathe. Believing in each other frees us from the pain we may encounter when in love, and when we encounter true love, nothing can break us down. A quarrel may come but through the pain of a disagreement shines the beauty of atonement. Sincerity comes from the fascination in each other’s eyes, and pain may be encountered but we must remember our first encounter- ...the moment we fell in love. I've am in love but have faced some pain,     I’ve seen the faults in my lover’s regrets,     and through it all one thing remains, comforting each other as the quarrel... -we forget. I know this is for a contest, but it is dedicated to my wonderful hubby Nicholas. We recently had a disagreement and worked through it with love and forgiveness as we always do. I know you will read this Nick, so thank you for all your support and love in our beautiful marriage. I love you baby... Lover's Quarrel February 28, 2017
