To Love and Be Loved
reciprocal love, a true moment of zen
something we seek again and again
losing of self with merging of souls
unlimited beauty when relinquish controls
the pain of the void should the link break
then entirely consumed by the hearts ache
reversing of time, to revisit days of bliss
this, my love, is my only true wish
I listen and hear you play the guitar
mind and body react, reversal of scar
perhaps I'll become who I used to be
to see again in your eyes that love for me
