To live a life without regrets This new leaf sprouted I will tend with care No looking back No holding on My love and me Just flying free If the sky rains fire And the four winds blow I will do my best Will not beat my chest Die to the past To live today

Ah if only it were so simple as dying to the past, but sometimes it is not we that must leave the past, but the past that must leave us, and we've all discovered just how hard it is to kill the past, with steel, words or tears. A magnificent write, the last two lines are the likes of which I will be quoting soon enough :).
