To Dream

To yearn for something, a basic need, something attainable. To dream of it until it becomes a fantasy to call upon when the need becomes too great. To look into the night sky, full of stars and recall; "Star light, star bright, first star".... But, a shooting star interrupts, falling downward, toward the earth. At the same time, the fantasy, the dream, also falls. The moment is gone, the dream, the fantasy is over, for you, unattainable, through no action, no fault, but from within. It is understood. But the need is still great, and the yearning continues.
