To be Ignored (heads in the air, or maybe noses)
The toilet makes a swoosh,
The drain makes a giggle.
Grandpa lets go a “big” one,
and we laughed and laughed.
Blow your nose,
touch your toes,
take a prideful pose,
then there is a dribble.
Ick…
Eat too much,
Stuff your face
It will come out, in any case…
Making noise… (sh…) we wish stayed quiet.
Huh?
We put the food,
right in our mouth,
and chomp on it a bit…?
Swallow hard,
The name card, that set where the plate,
had been.
Then, on its way...,
to be seen, yet…another day.
The path to take,
for living's sake, to the big machine.
A breeding ground for sounds unseen.
Bip! and bop!,
Then tip! and tiddle!,
Embarrassing in the middle…
Yet, eating’s fun,
and filling too.
Don’t be worried,
about the few…
They are too social,
and stand too straight,
But I assure you,
They are up, for a similar fate.
So stand in line, or sit right down.
And… remember!
A little noise is a funny thing,
that can make you laugh,
while, others sing.
