To Be Heard

It was only a simple moment The chattering of a bird Singing in the woodland - When it struck me We only want to be heard May it be our thoughts Translated in a song, Or speaking from higher ground Maybe sometimes our words warble too And if it weren't for silence, we wouldn't hear And maybe also our voice needs silence first As we gravitate in this pull of energy This yearning to be heard - To be part of everything around us Heidi Sands 7/1/20

Wow, love this Heidi, yes to be heard, so many there is, including us, here in soup. But some want more, like the despot of the planet, those with thirst for power..
