To Be Broken-Hearted
Remembering guilt from pages turned brown
To read in darker rooms inside the mind
Written throughout time with tears falling down
I'll claim dung lit torn pages I can find
You bled my love on our road to sadness
And found comfort in your conqueror's scheme
Love's end always includes heartfelt madness
The dance ended with my broken heart's scream
Drifting through time like a slow turning wheel
Secrets on written pages that float free
Memories in my mind, I won't conceal
From roads, you often took with selfish glee
When wounds that appear allow tears to pour
You'll find nothing is as it was before
