To Anonymous You- Dedication For Lin

to you who made my friend now want to leave
who with a word have caused her heart to grieve
to you who did not share uplifting post
who let the gossip haunt her like a ghost

to you who did not look inside to see
the truthful heart that longs to simply be
to you who thought to chide and finger point
who made her feel from here she's out of joint

to you who might be pleased she'll say goodbye
who've made her write word tears, her way to cry
I do not know the reasons or your name
Unsure of what has caused this game of shame

The only thing I ask with wistful plea:
Make your amends and keep community

I've been in the same boat...and I've thought of leaving many times, but....I've stuck it out. I think Lin should do the same. My poem is born out of frustration of having been there myself. Lin is a great writer...we would lose miss out oh her poetry. I haven't read every single one of her poems....I just don't have the time, but I know her has talent and heart.

I have had to recover myself for some time from recent events here...I didn't get around to visiting people much, but...I do like Lin's work. It will be a shame to lose her. I read Lin now and again when I get the chance, and I like what I read. I read her not in response because frankly, I read her more than she does me.... ;) I read her because I like her style of writing. That last poem got me at the title...and so much of what she wrote there is true of Poetry Soup....unfortunately. I'm just sad she's leaving. There are others who have gone...It's sad.
