November arrived...barely spoke, got a to-go plate...is now leaving, backing out of driveway

Time moves so fast, it stop for no one.. i can remember the turn of the year for 2023, always a special day as its my best friends birthday and now in 30 days it will be a new year...

I agree...time keeps slipping into the future right before my eyes. 2023 was a busy year for us...so rushed that some parts of it I don't actually remember. Gosh, we do have another year coming in 30 days. EEGADS. Thanks for stopping by & have a pleasant evening, Sara

It doesn't look half bad. Our family goes to a buffet restaurant each thanksgiving. My daughter spends the actual holiday with her in laws, a very big group. Since my own siblings don't live near us, we end up with having t Thnks giving on a different day.

we have to adapt as well. We sometimes go to a buffet depending on who's around. Bill's kids live 700 miles away so we rarely see them at Thanksgiving. His sister and her family are close as is my brothers. So we celebrate with them on different days. Anyway, thanks for the visit and for sharing. Have a splendid weekend, Sara

I'm slightly puzzled but it sounds like a Thanksgiving poem. It sounds like to go plates from a big Thanksgiving dinner because there is too much food.

this poem would probably have been better suited for publication right after Thanksgiving. I was hoping to convey how quickly November went by, like some people in a restaurant who eat so quickly and don't say goodbye. Anyway, hope you have a splendid weekend, hugs, Sara
