To-Be
Frogs Croaking.
Engines Cackling.
Underneath the setting Sun.
God’s Watching,
with eyes a weary,
everything in its natural place.
Going about its natural pace.
Ahhhh, To-Be.
Crisp Spring Sunset.
Summer, where art thou?
Why dost you hide from us for far too long?
We'd love to hear your sacred song.
Are you shy?
Do we stink?
Can you please, wake Up?
We're on the brink.
Being that,
we are always in need of you.
Frostbound feelings, on the horizon.
Crepesculing, hither and yon.
Memories
far gone
returning with new light.
My past isn’t as heavy anymore.
This newfound
lightness helps me think.
A thought of you
flashed
over the sunset.
Ahhhh, To-Be
