Thy Love For Me
Thy Love for me
With eyelids shut, I look on high
And see the Lord with my mind’s eye.
His love shines bright on sunlit seas.
O God, I see, Thy love for me.
I hear the sound of His soft voice.
Reminding me I have a choice.
Christ came to earth to set men free.
O God, I see, Thy love for me.
And ‘ere I judge another cruel,
Within my thoughts I find a jewel.
Then, on my knees I pray and plea.
O God, I see, Thy love for me.
A prayer within my heart shall stay.
No evil words shall heaven sway.
That God is great, I do agree.
O God, I see, Thy love for me.
