Throw-Back Bliss
Family bonding times decades ago
Can never be buried in oblivion
Since they can be fully resurrected
Via uploaded delightful pictures
With hashtags, “joyous reminiscences.”
Here am I succumbing to “throw-back” bliss
Of our home’s mirth with Dad, Mom and siblings
Warmed by love's glow in praying together
While feasting on God’s blessings midst trials
Thanking Him for peace, faith, mercy and grace!*
*2John 1:3 Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
