Through the Fire
Through the fire
I thought the fire
Burns only outside home
Yet it still burning at home
Am lucky yes a survival
Cos am the metal in the fire
Am the one the world
Always want to reshape
Am always on their mind
Even when am innocent
Am still hot
Burning yes burning
Through the fire
Through the fire
Through my mother’s womb
Was the genesis of this fire
No wonder I broke a York
At eleventh month
When I stepped
out from heaven
Yes the womb of every woman
Is a heaven
To this fire that always
They wish to reshape me with
They don’t want to see my
Natural shape
Cos they fear who I am
They fear a bold creation
Of God
Who only respect life
But fear only God
No wonder my fire
Never die
