Through The Eyes Of a Child
What if my inner eyes were taught to see
The eyes of God watching me
What if my pupils were old soul in young orb
My muse more inquisitive
What if I were schooled to be seen and heard
With grammatical correct words
What if my chores included travels by books
With landscapes to enrich my mind
What if choreographed moves to piano tunes were mine
And evening walks was ours, my hand in yours towards sea
What if I were told fresh air is as the breath of God
And morning as first gift of day
What if sharing was as silent as visitors with blessings
What if I were told young and old are as student and teachers
What if, what if, what if.
