Equipped to write but not to share Damn thoughts spill out somehow Never with intention of soul to bare Rein in, veil them, obscure them now! Nonchalant I'll be if you express care Ta-ra*, I'll exit with non-committal bow *Informal British way of saying goodbye

I don't think I ever really let my guard down. Even though they are few and far between, there are some commenters who stab the heart of a poet and force them to hold back. I thank you for your always kind words x

Thanks Duke, I enjoy putting the throwaway thoughts into poetry and seeing where they go. I sometimes wonder where any poetry comes from, especially when a decent poem appears! Thanks for enjoying the ensemble of my poems you've read :)

Haha! I decided I didn't need to know what I'd write about or why and just follow the rules. I used to just do it with no second guessing, so thought I'd try that approach tonight. Hence a flurry of unusual poems :) nice to see you! I've no doubt you'll ace it if you put pen to paper x
