Threads
my deepest emotions I have
poured ...
upon pages and pages of paper
my sorrow and tears and grief
my joy and memories
oh, I have emptied my soul
as I followed the threads of pain
and have let my words ... bleed
to stain the pages of my journal
and then- I let them
fly away ...
like birds set free from their cage
to glide
