Thoughts To Expound

Race is not color in essence we have different morals, beliefs, religion and birthplace; we are all different. Let these differences make life interesting not filled with hate. Just as color makes life more beautiful; race makes life more beautiful like a rare butterfly. Victors of war have looted and reaped the spoils with little thought to the enemy. The poor have had no voice in every country. No matter the continent the lowly hard working low income class has least interest in government. Their thoughts exist in survival and where the next meal will be bought. Though I can sense the need for family and friends to help overcome the slim spells of life.

As ancient as the holy grail. The tale of lowly up for sale. With hands stretched out for what's to come. It seems, there's only enough for some.

I agree my friend. I notice also that other cultures seem to have more close bonds with family than do we. Wonder why that is. Good write. God Bless, JB

Beautifully written. I like the celebration of difference at the beginning of this poem, and the rest of the poem is sad but true. Sometimes it is very hard to live in a world where we know these truths exist around us and we feel helpless to change it. I think that just by writing and discussing these types of issues people's hearts and minds can be opened up and some change can start. Thanks so much for sharing.
