Thoughts On the Metaverse

What in the world is this new Metaverse? Now they are selling houses, I understand, [Who would have thought in this universe] Buy now, I’m told, for there is limited land. I am so far behind in this new technology Must I pay taxes to a virtual government? Another course, I suppose, for psychology Seems our society gets increasingly bent. I thought I’d heard it all with new pronouns Being put down because I’m WOKE, and Savvy about all our sordid past breakdowns, I’m inclined to go rogue with an ampersand! As Granny said, “What have we come to?” I ask myself, “Has the world passed me by?” I wonder what next will come out of the blue Sometimes I feel like I’ll sit down and cry! Written August 10, 2022

These elitist Milton they are into transhumanism, they want to plant chips in people so they can command smart devices with their brain. This Metaverse is virtual reality. Listen to this one. They are selling real estate in the metaverse world. Like if you want to live in Hawaii they sell you the ability to be in Hawaii virtually with waves around and a condo where you can put on the virtual equipment and live in your condo. They charge lots of money for this so called virtual real estate

They say within the next five to seven years there will be no cell phones they will implant a device in you where you can call from inside your body. It is crazy but they are planning to do this. Its all about transhumanism. They believe they can download their brains before they die and live forever in a chip that is downloaded with all their thoughts and transferred over to another body. This is what they are working on. Elon Musk is behind this technology. It is getting crazy Milton, the more I hear of their lunacy the more I want to go back in time and bring back normality like we use to have...

Don't worry, Milt. The metaverse is just Virtual Reality on Steroids, reconfigured so that Mark Zuckerburg can squeeze advertisers out of more money than ever. It's all about the money, of course. It seems science is not content with the world we live in and have created a virtual world. My grandson had one of those headsets and it was mind blowing, I had a go and was underwater with whales, dolphins and sharks swimming close by, I jumped back a couple of times when they got close. Tom
