Alone I sit, I wonder...while sipping my tea Feeling the warmth of the wind that's softly breezing across the ocean Thoughts of life, my life, I lived...engulf me Mama and pop, I can hear your voices amongst the waves Thank you, both...you have taught me well Brother Joe, I will see you soon...miss you too! It's been a long journey and a hard life Sitting in my out-door man cave, I wonder, and I wonder, and I wonder...(tears) Free Verse or Rhyme Poetry Contest Sponsor Eve Roper 4-28-2019

A very heartfelt honest write - thoughts always drift in and out of our minds, and especially when we have the time to be alone A poem that I can relate to! Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Congratulations on your win and thank you , Charles, for entering my contest; I loved the warm emotion in your reminiscing in the past. Your poem is one that ran over the 8 lines instruction... On my end of the contest page the last line carried over to making it 9 lines. Come and visit my Blog.. Hugs Eve

Beautiful, Charles. Remembering our loved ones is good; wondering is good and thinking positive and praying are even better. Love your poetry. :D
